Diet and exercise are two things that need to be incorporated into your life.  If you do not eat a healthy diet, you will be putting yourself at risk for things like heart disease, diabetes and many more conditions that are fatal.  If you do not get in the exercise that you need, your body will not be able to keep up with what you need to do.  You’ll become sedentary or your organs, such as your heart, will begin to fail.  In either case, you are cutting serious years off of your life every single day that you stay overweight or eating the wrong foods.  If you allow your children to do this, you are doing the same thing to them.

 

So, what can you do to add in these nutrients to your body? There are actually many things that you can do to benefit from exercise.  It does not have to be mind-boggling and difficult either.  For example, if you just go for a walk, you are helping your body.  If you enjoy a sport, get out there and play.  If you are enjoying reality TV and don’t want to miss it then use an exercise bike to help you to kick it into gear.  All of these things are easy things that you can do to increase your chances at rebuilding the length of your life.

 

When it comes to diet, instead of trying one of those crazy give it all up diets, look for balanced nutrition instead.  To do this, limit the amounts of the foods that you eat.  Portion control is essential to weight loss.  Second, cut out the things that are clogging up your heart such as cholesterol.  Stick to good foods that are not full of fats and you‘ll be eating much better.  Trying new foods that are healthier can help you to get the taste that you are craving without all the extra stuff that will just end up around your waist line.  By doing these things, it will help you to incorporate diet and exercise into your life.
